2015 Goals

2015 Goals

I’m currently sitting in bed, drinking water and reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (I’ve had it on my kindle since June and have only just started reading it; WHY did I wait this long?!). I needed a break, so figured now would be a good time to share my goals for 2015 with you and set my intentions for the rest of the year.

Goals

Bonus:
  1. Figure out how to use this pen! – I got a wacom stylus for Christmas (I was pretty spoiled this year), and I have no idea what I’m doing with it.
  2. Care less about what other people think – I have come to the realisation that I need to be true to myself.
  3. Seek adventure/do more things that scare me – pretty much forcing myself out of my comfort zone. I WILL go to #brunchclub at least once this year (for those who don’t know I am incredibly introverted and have social anxiety; meeting new people scares the shit out of me).
One Word:

While reading Natasha’s one word for 2015 post, I was inspired to come up with my own. Something that encompasses all the goals I have set myself for the year and sets me on a path that I want to follow. It took me a while, but I’ve found my word for 2015 – it’s “integrity”. I want to be honest with myself, to follow through with plans and to be proud of myself at the end of the year.

What are your goals/resolutions for the year? xx

What fantastic resolutions! I also love your word for 2014; “integrity” is everything. I’m still thinking about what I want from 2015, but more adventures is always at the top of the list :)

YES TO ALL OF THIS! Especially the Wacom thing – I have had one for ages and still have not mastered it. Must actually dig it out of … where ever I’ve hidden it … and learn to use it properly. Bring on 2015!

This pen is frustrating me, but I am going to master it (or at last attempt to). If you haven’t, download Bamboo Paper for the iPad, it seems pretty decent as a starting off point :)

I can relate to your resolutions. I’ve used Wacom for years but I never use it to write with. I mostly use it for painting type motions like for colouring and photo retouching. I’m quicker at typing anyhow :)

Caring less about what others think is a good one. I’ve also got “comparison” on my resolutions, as in less comparison. Comparison can be one sure way to be unhappy.

Happy New Year Genie! I hope you had an aweoms break, and good luck with your resolutions for the year. You’re right about comparison being a sure way to be unhappy, it’s something that I struggle with and have been learning not to do so much of lately (it’s still hard at times though).

I mainly want to use my stylus for drawing/adding a bit of text to posts, but want to practice writing beforehand (I get frustrated way too easily i I don’t think things a ‘perfect’)
