It’s officially autumn in New Zealand, which means it’s time for another What’s In My Bag post.
Fun fact: my very first post on this blog was a what’s in my bag post; when I started, I hoped these would be regular/seasonal posts… I’ve only just gotten around to doing that; four years later. Looking back at that old post, I really hope my photography skills have improved, cause jeez those photos are terrible (I used a DSLR too…)
Anyway, yesterday, I went to my first #BrunchClub brunch and decided to take the newest addition to the bag familyon its first outing (I have a thing for bags and wallets – I remember when one of my sisters and said “you change wallets like people change undies”; I might have a bit of a problem)
My newest bag is a backpack I bought from Equip; it is made out of cotton and fits a lot more stuff in it than I thought would have (which is great for me, because I am notorious for over stuffing bags and ruining their straps).
In My Bag
Journal for blog ideas.
My gratitude list journal.
My 2014 planner*
Moisturiser (because damn, my skin has been dry lately).
The key and access card to my apartment.
My iPhone (in a case, because I keep dropping it).
My makeup bag.
Having three journals in my bag might have been a little excessive considering I didn’t have a pen…
Not Pictured
My husband’s camera (Olympus olympus pen mini e-pm2).
In My Makeup Bag
OPI Avojuice Skin Quencher in Holly Berry – if you love wintery/autumnal scents as much as I do, you will love this.
A Bath & Bodyworks handsanitiser in raspberry lemonade (I bought this while we were in Canada, and I’m going to be so sad when it runs out).
A cherry coke lipsmakers (because cherry coke),
A caramel cream flavoured Nivea Lp Butter.
Three lipsticks (I was feeling a bit indecisive about which colour I wanted to wear).
A Headache & Migraine essential oil (I got this from Le’Esscience, you should definitely check them out; Gillian is lovely).
What are you currently carrying around in your bag? Anything you can’t live without?
That’s quite a stash!! I always have way too much in my bags and ruin the handles, and I take a second bag to work with my lunch in it too. At the moment an unusual item I have is a beanie that I’m knitting.
3 notebooks! I was lucky I remember my diary.. but I did have 4 pens in my bag. I have about 3 main bags but I find my trouble is then remembering to switch all the stuff I need into the other bags
Haha I forget to switch things out top, and then randomly find things I when looking for other things
I have far too many notebooks ;)
