Hello my long neglected blog; well, not really, it’s only been two days since I last posted, but seeing as I had intended on posting every day I feel I have kind of failed. I say kind of, because it’s not that I haven’t wanted to post, I’ve been sick and haven’t been wanting to do much other than curl up and get into bed. I stayed home today, and I’m feeling much better than I was this morning, but still kind of gross. Boo Illness.

I took Thursday and Friday off work last week because I’m still sick (ugh, the lurgy that lingers). I went to the doctor on Thursday and I knew it was bed-rest before she said anything; the look in her eyes when she went to check to see how swollen the glands in my neck were said it all. My throat still hurts like hell at times, but I’m feeling a lot better than I was on Thursday and my nose isn’t blocked anymore, so, yay?!

I’m still a bit sick, a little bit stressed, and as the title of this post suggests, over it. Right now I’m drinking some de stress tea with a bit of lime and a packet of lempsip mixed in with it; I’d rather be drinking gin.
Without going into much, work is SO busy at the moment. We were hoping that it would quieten down this week, but if anything it got busier; it’s also cold and flu season.
