It’s been a while since I posted here last. Not because I haven’t had anything to share with you guys (I’m always been jotting down ideas of things I think will be neat to write about); it’s just that I’ve been pretty down lately and haven’t felt like doing much aside from curling into a ball and watching TV when I get home from work most nights.
Today, I decided that I had moped around for too long, and that really needed to shake off this bad mood and just write something; anything. I was a bit stuck about where to start, and I figured a Taking Stock post (huge thanks Laura Laura for the idea) would be a good starting point.
I think I jinxed it when I said I was the happiest I had been in years; because right now I feel like shit (nowhere near as bad as I felt last night/this morning, but still pretty shitty). My head is a whole lot of thoughts and feelings that I can’t seem to articulate, but at the heart of it I’m pretty stressed, and more than a little bummed out. Continue reading →
Happy Sunday! I hope you’re all having a great weekend, I’m a bit bored and a little stressed at the moment, but that’s not really new is it? I’m so happy that it’s a long weekend, but also not, because work has started to get busy again, and short turnarounds for certain jobs is stressing me out. Apparently, I just smile it away though, which is a good thing? I guess?
Anyway, I have decided I’m going to post regular instagram round ups; I’m thinking weekly at this stage, but I’m not sure. My day-to-day life isn’t very exciting and I usually only post between 3 – 5 pictures a week; hardly enough to warrant a weekly feature, but we’ll see.
I’ll also be posting pictures from my instagram feed that I love, because sharing is caring, right? Also, because I follow some pretty awesome people and you should check them out.
I hope you’re having a good weekend, it’s Labour day in New Zealand and we’re house sitting, so I can’t complain (long weekend and animals! SCORE).
Seeing as we’re away, I figured it would be a great time to do a photo an hour post, I’ve always wanted to do one of these, but feel that my day-to-day life is pretty boring (I work in an office, and currently spend my weekends painting walls, so nothing exciting).
